Se we are getting started today on the cleanse with Christy over at One Fun Mom. If you are interested in doing this with us today is the day!
As Holly mentioned last week I have started to up my game when it comes to exercise. I started going to Stroller Strides 3-4 times a week. For all you doubters out there Stroller Strides is an INTENSE workout. I always leave there sweaty and TIRED! Then to up the game even more I started a program called Body Back. Its an intense workout program for mama's who want their body back. Its twice a week at 5:45 in the morning (EARLY!) and its boot camp style. My trainer is AWESOME and she has pushed me to do things I never thought I would do. I have noticed a serious change in my body with inches and feeling stronger but I haven't seen a difference on the scale. I know the answer is food. I want to have a better relationship with food. I want to be healthier, eat less processed food, and overall just feel better. Ronnie and I had actually been discussing purging our kitchen and eating organic when holly told me about the cleanse and we decided this would be a great way to "kick start" our journey into eating better.

Here is a great recipe for Turkey Meatballs!
1 small onion, grated
3 garlic cloves, minced (or I like to grate these too..Rachel Ray style)
1 large egg
1/4 cp. dried bread crumbs
1/4 cp chopped fresh Italian parsley
1/4 cp. grated parmesan
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 (10oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
3 tbsp. ketchup
1 lb. ground turkey meat.
Combo to onion, garlic, egg, bread crumbs, ketchip, parsley, parmesan, spinach, salt & pepper into a large bowl and blend. Add turkey. Shape into 1 1/4 diameter meatballs. Place on large baking sheet.
Bake @ 400 for 10-15 min on each side.
Serve with 1 cp. mixed veggies and 1/2 cp. of quiona OR 1/2 cp whole wheat pasta and your fav organic red sauce.
