Queen Bee Recap

by Holly

Happy Wednesday everyone (well, what's left of it).  I meant to get out some more great Queen Bee pics earlier today, but we are getting ready for our annual camping trip and the day has gotten away from me.
Crazy day or not, I really wanted to show you all some more great vendors we got to work with this past weekend.  Here it goes...

Pillow Factory has some great, graphic designs that I would love to see on my couch.

Hope and Heritage is a mother/daughter run company that makes great items for moms and babies.  They have the softest baby wraps (think baby cocoon), if only I still had babies.

And then there is Misfit Menagerie.  What can I say about their adorable stuffed goodies?  They are so unique and fun.  Here is one of my favorites...

Gotta love narwahls!  (A nice nod to the hilarious movie "Elf.")
I think I have brought home some goodies from this shop every time Queen Bee comes around.  Little Penelope Lane has the cutest, and most affordable, hair and fashion accessories.  I love their headbands!

So, there you have it.  These are just some of my favs.  It was a little chaotic at the beginning, so getting some good pictures was a bit of a challenge.  I hope you all get the idea about how amazing this market is.  It is such a fun event to be a part of, and I hope that if you don't live in the area, or were unable to come, that you would check out some of these amazing crafters.

I am now officially on vacation!  Yay!!!  Mollie will be taking the reigns again next week, and she has some great projects lined up.  See you all when I get back.

Another Amazing Queen Bee

Hey everyone!

We are exhaling today after a great Saturday spent at the Queen Bee Market.  It was held at the beautiful Bayfront Hilton and was PACKED with crafting goodness.  We LOVE being a part of this group of amazing vendors, who are quickly becoming great friends!
For those of you who weren't able to come by... here's a few pics of some of our favs.

Allora Handmade has the cutest necklaces and hair accessories.  Jessica, the owner, is also one of the owners of the Queen Bee Market (along with her sister Mique), so she is one busy lady.  Her stuff is amazing!

One new friend we made was Erika from uniquely e jewelry.  She was so fun to talk to, and I even got a couple of her fabulous pieces for my mom's birthday (My mom's going to read this and won't be able to wait until Sept. 9th.  But sorry mom, you'll just have to.)
Lindsey's handmade pouches and covers for anything from a notebook, to little tissue packs, to ipad cases are definitely top notch.  I finally got to take home one of her clutch purses and I am in love with it!  I even slept with it on my nightstand the first night so I could wake up to it.  (TMI, I know)  Check her out at The Pleated Poppy.  Amazing!
Funky Vintage Lovely is another favorite.  I bought my mother-in-law one of her framed magnetic chalkboards, finally.  I have been promising her one since Mother's Day.  They are great, and a beautiful way to hold your recipe cards.  She also has the prettiest cake and cupcake stands.  I really wanted one, but a girl's gotta stop somewhere.
This spot is always crowded with people.  Handmade banners, pennants, and party hats (so cute!) that are super creative and fun!  I am slightly partial since this shop belongs to a dear friend of mine, Courtney.  But, seriously, her stuff is amazing.  Check her out at Joyful Weddings and Events.  She can make almost anything our of paper.
Another fun, new friend we met this weekend was Emily, from Blue Corduroy.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her stuff.  If only I had a daughter.  Oh wait, she makes adult sizes.  (Which I realized when I was doing my security shift and starring at her booth for an hour)  One of her gray, crochet hats with a houndstooth band was calling my name.  And much to my husband's dismay, I answered.  Can't wait to wear it.
And lastly (at least for today)...
Here is a shot of our stuff.  I cannot tell you how fun it is to make stuff for boys.  The crafting world tends to be very girl heavy.  So, having something different is great.  And we loved meeting all you moms of boys who agree.
We had a lot of fun!  Stay tuned for more photos of this great market on Wednesday.
Happy Monday!

Queen Bee Market!!

Exciting News!!
We are apart of the Queen Bee Market that is going to be THIS SATURDAY at the Bayfront Hilton in Downtown San Diego.  We couldn't be more excited about getting to be a vendor at this market again.  Mique and Jess (the queen bees) do a great job of putting it all together! So great in fact that we are going to be featured on the morning news on Wednesday morning.  If you are up or have a DVR don't forget to watch....

We hope to see all your smiling faces at the market on Saturday!! Holly has made EVERYTHING (giving me a little time off to enjoy my new baby...big thank you HOLLY!!!) and I can't wait for you to see all the good things we have!

Blessings!
