Insta-Saturday {Whoops!}

  The week got away from me!

This little girl Pennie dumped Pure Maple Syrup under my couch this week... Ugh. 

Ronnie's parents house has all these super cool lofts.  The only way you can get up there is by climbing a ladder.  As a reward for eating all of her green beans Zoie got to go up there after family night dinner with Uncle Dustin.  It was VERY exciting!! 

i LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Swagger Wagon.  I never thought I would ever be that excited about a mini van but its AMAZING.

Insta Friday

 Zoie has been really into drawing lately and this was her first ever "people" drawing.  

This is mommy & Zoie... I'm a proud mama.

Zoie got out her princess sleeping bag and wanted to have a "camp out."  She and Pennie layed on the floor and pretended to sleep (weird kids).  I actually let Zoie sleep on the floor that night but it only lasted about 10 minutes before she wanted back in her bed.  :)

Ronnie (my husband) is a basketball coach and really into playing.  He plays about 5 times a week and loves the sport.  When I found these Air Jordans at Nordstrom Rack I HAD to get them for our girl, only problem is they were 1/2 size too small... but we still got a picture! 

Kind of blurry but morning sister snuggles are the best...

my little mermaid... She is OBSESSED with all things mermaid and asks us every week at the beach to make her a mermaid tail out of sand.  

We took the girls to Sea World.  I will never get over how HUGE those whales are! Holy Toledo... It was so sweet to hear Pennie's squeals with delight as they splashed and jumped out of the water. 

CHEESE! My Pennie girl does this face every time I pull out my phone.  It totally melts my heart. 

Zoie's first "people drawing" It's a picture of Mommy & Zoie.  I am so proud.  :)

Pennie just learned how to walk. Like actually walk without falling down every few seconds and it is STRESSING ZOIE OUT.  She is normally really good about sharing her toys but now that Pennie is IN THE ACTION, big sister has to learn some new skills.  :)  This pic is Pennie fleeing the scene with a baby Princess doll. ha!

Been trying really hard to eat "clean".  Some days are better than others.  Its a process.  :)

A fun look at what's up in the life of Holly...

 We spent an evening at the Padres' game for teacher appreciation night.  Big Man's teacher got to throw out the first pitch since he is one of the California teachers of the year.  Yay!  It was May 4th (if you can't tell), and Middle Man's 3rd time on the Jumbotron.  The camera loves this kid!

 We had a few minutes of watching our friends' kids.  The ipad makes a GREAT babysitter.

 Here is a sneak peak into Big Man's new room.  It is still a bit of a work in progress, but he LOVES it!  A 10 year old's gotta have his own space.

The birthday boy.  LOVE!!!

 My husband had to go over to our old house this week and he brought me home some of my sweet peas that I planted years ago.  I miss them!

 Little Man and I went on a park picnic date this week.  He is finally big enough to play on the big kids playground.  Opened up a whole new world for him.

 And then there's these... They may not look yummy, but boy oh boy are they good!  I am still on the clean eating kick and these cookies fit the bill.  They are chocolate chunky monkeys from six sisters' stuff.Only 50 calories a piece!!!  Ate quite a few of them during American Idol. :)

Insta-Saturday...

I was kinda grateful that Jeanette posted Insta-Saturday because I was totally behind this week.  I am NOT grateful that it was because Jeanette was in the hospital with her little one.  (she is totally in our prayers Jeanette!)

 Here is my week at a glance..

We just discovered the pint size shopping carts and HOLY toledo does this make my shopping easier with my girl.  Ronnie and I got to jet out really fast with Zoie to the store to grab dessert for family night dinner and it was so fun! 

I have been doing a bootcamp type class for two months now.  It is so nice to have a super hard workout done by 7am. 

a) I got new shoes

b) I got some snuggles

I got to go on a Women's Retreat with my church and some girlfriends and I went to lunch.  I totally had one of these for dessert... AMAZING!

Those blue eyes and two tiny teeth melt my heart...

Pretty sure I could quote every word for you...

The hubs got me tickets to Cirque du Soeli for my birthday and we got a quick beach date in before.  We saw Totem and it was INCREDIBLE! The way the performers can move their bodies is astonishing...

  Another week in photos! I love this post. Thanks Jeanette!!

Smoothies... They are a big thing around here.  We get them a few times a week after Zoie wakes up from her afternoon nap.  It combats my afternoon laziness and I've started adding spinach to our smoothies for a sneaky veggie fix!

Zoie's cousin got to come over and play in the morning! It was SO fun to have a girl party.  They got french toast sticks and bananas for breakfast.  I love that the cousins are close... 

Ronnie and I walked the girls over to the park around the corner of our house the other night after dinner.  What was supposed to be a fun time for Zoie to play quickly became a contest for Ronnie and I on who could go down this tube slide the fastest.  My quickest time was 4 seconds and Ronnie beat me by just a hair! SO frustrating.  

Zoie got to have a sleepover @ Nana & Pops house.  This is the photo her nana sent me after she was tucked in bed.  Makes my heart happy. They are SO sweet then they are sleeping. 

My clean office!!  After 2 1/2 yrs at my job I finally cleaned out my office!! I couldn't be MORE excited about it.  It's REALLY fun to go to work now!! Now I just need to make it pretty.

These two together cuddling in their jammies just melts my heart! I can hardly stand the sister love.  

These wedges are FIERCE!  Saw them at DSW and HAD to try them on. I didn't leave with them though, not quite sure i'm brave enough to pull those off. 

SPOILER ALERT.  Zoie is going to be a lady bug for Halloween.  I was going to make her costume but when I saw this at Marshalls there was NO WAY I could leave without it.  Just needs some black tights and a long sleeve tee. 

This makes my heart happy.  One of my best girlfriends hanging out with me after the kids are put to bed and the hubby is out playing basketball.  We have delicious chocolate cake and bowls of coffee.  We just chatted about everything and watched "You Again" (adorable!)
