Another Amazing Queen Bee

Hey everyone!

We are exhaling today after a great Saturday spent at the Queen Bee Market.  It was held at the beautiful Bayfront Hilton and was PACKED with crafting goodness.  We LOVE being a part of this group of amazing vendors, who are quickly becoming great friends!
For those of you who weren't able to come by... here's a few pics of some of our favs.

Allora Handmade has the cutest necklaces and hair accessories.  Jessica, the owner, is also one of the owners of the Queen Bee Market (along with her sister Mique), so she is one busy lady.  Her stuff is amazing!

One new friend we made was Erika from uniquely e jewelry.  She was so fun to talk to, and I even got a couple of her fabulous pieces for my mom's birthday (My mom's going to read this and won't be able to wait until Sept. 9th.  But sorry mom, you'll just have to.)
Lindsey's handmade pouches and covers for anything from a notebook, to little tissue packs, to ipad cases are definitely top notch.  I finally got to take home one of her clutch purses and I am in love with it!  I even slept with it on my nightstand the first night so I could wake up to it.  (TMI, I know)  Check her out at The Pleated Poppy.  Amazing!
Funky Vintage Lovely is another favorite.  I bought my mother-in-law one of her framed magnetic chalkboards, finally.  I have been promising her one since Mother's Day.  They are great, and a beautiful way to hold your recipe cards.  She also has the prettiest cake and cupcake stands.  I really wanted one, but a girl's gotta stop somewhere.
This spot is always crowded with people.  Handmade banners, pennants, and party hats (so cute!) that are super creative and fun!  I am slightly partial since this shop belongs to a dear friend of mine, Courtney.  But, seriously, her stuff is amazing.  Check her out at Joyful Weddings and Events.  She can make almost anything our of paper.
Another fun, new friend we met this weekend was Emily, from Blue Corduroy.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her stuff.  If only I had a daughter.  Oh wait, she makes adult sizes.  (Which I realized when I was doing my security shift and starring at her booth for an hour)  One of her gray, crochet hats with a houndstooth band was calling my name.  And much to my husband's dismay, I answered.  Can't wait to wear it.
And lastly (at least for today)...
Here is a shot of our stuff.  I cannot tell you how fun it is to make stuff for boys.  The crafting world tends to be very girl heavy.  So, having something different is great.  And we loved meeting all you moms of boys who agree.
We had a lot of fun!  Stay tuned for more photos of this great market on Wednesday.
Happy Monday!
